DR Michael Danesh-Meyer

DR Michael Danesh-Meyer

Dr Danesh-Meyer gained his BDS and MDS in periodontics with Distinction from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

He subsequently taught at the University and was in full-time private practice limited to dental implants and periodontics prior to his academic appointment in the USA in 1998. He taught pre-doctoral and graduate periodontology at Temple University, School of Dentistry in Philadephia and was Associate Scientist, in the Laboratory for Applied Periodontal and Craniofacial Regeneration. He has been involved in preclinical and clinical research involving GTR/GBR, rhBMP-2 & dental implants since 1991 and has authored numerous articles and given lectures both nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and periodontics. In 2000, he established the Institute of Dental Implants & Periodontics and the Auckland Clinical Training Centre in New Zealand.

Dr Danesh-Meyer is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is actively involved in teaching periodontics and implant dentistry. He is on the gIDE faculty and a clinical instructor for the gIDE/UCLA Australasian Masters Program.

DR Glen Liddelow

DR Glen Liddelow

Dr Liddelow completed a BDSc and an MScD from the University of Western Australia and a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the University of Sydney.

He is a Member and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is a member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the Australasian Osseointegration Society and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr Liddelow is a prosthodontist at the Branemark Centre Perth, Western Australia primarily concerned with both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry. He is a consultant prosthodontist at Princess Margaret Hospital and has lectured widely both nationally and internationally. His research and publications include immediate loading, surface technology and implant aesthetics.

DR Brent P. Allan

DR Brent P. Allan

Dr Allan graduated Batchelor of Dental Science from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1982 and gained his Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1991.

His surgical training took place in Australia, the UK and USA. He is currently working as Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Private Practice and Consultant at the University of Western Australia. His previous appointments include Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The University of Washington, Seattle and the Children’s Hospital & Medical Centre, Seattle, USA. He was awarded the Medical and Optical Martin Travel Scholarship in 1997. His areas of surgical special interest include surgical correction of dentofacial deformity, maxillofacial reconstruction and advanced osseointegrated implant techniques. Dr Allan has presented lectures and surgical training programmes in Australia, South East Asia, the USA and England.

DR David Dunn

DR David Dunn

Dr David Dunn graduated from Sydney University with Honours in 1981. He is a Fellow by examination of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and is a member of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy.

He was instrumental in the establishment of both the Osseointegration Society of New South Wales, being chairman of the inaugural committee, and later The Australasian Osseointegration Society. He is a Senior Clinical Associate at the University of Sydney, Faculty of Dentistry. He has also been a Faculty member for the teaching of the "The Diploma in Implant Dentistry," University of Sydney. Dr Dunn has lectured both nationally and internationally including The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons 2000 Congress, The Australian Dental Association Congress, the Asian Pacific Dental Congress, New Zealand Dental Association Congress, Nobel Biocare World Conferences, and numerous local programs. He also conducts mentor training programs to educate and improve the skills of dentists who are involved in dental implant therapy. Dr Dunn is also a member of the international teaching faculty for gIDE/ULCA Master Program in Implant Dentistry.

Dr Dunn is published in both Australian and International journals on implant and aesthetic Dentistry. Dr Dunn's practice is restricted to Prosthodontics with a special interest in cosmetic and implant reconstruction.
